THE DREXEL SOCIETY, INC.
Our Founder
Elise LeNoir Morris (1916-2016) founded the Drexel Society, a national lay Catholic service organization, in 1978. She chose to name and dedicate the organization to Saint Katherine Drexel, founder of Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament.




Our Patron Saint
Saint Katherine Mary Drexel, (1858- 1955) Is a Roman Catholic Saint who dedicated her life and inheritance to the needs of oppressed Native Americans and Blacks. She was canonized by Pope John Paul II on 27 January 2000.

Our Chapters
Regional status was obtained on February 8, 1983, with the establishment of chapters in other dioceses. Today, there are eleven chapters. Each chapter creates, develops, and adopts their own interventions n order to serve their communities.
