Drexelaire Consuella Broussard

Consuella M. Broussard is a native of Port Arthur, Texas. She is a graduate of Sacred Heart High School. Her undergraduate studies were completed at Xavier University of Louisiana and a Masters of Education and Mid-Management Certification were earned at the University of Houston. Additional studies were completed at Prairie View A&M, Texas Southern University and the University of Maryland Branch in Frankfurt, Germany.

Consuella has held membership in The Houston Professional Administration Association, National Education Association, The National Association of Secondary School Principals, Jack and Jill of America, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Les Charmantes Social Club and Professional Duplicate Bridge Club.

She has served on the board of Directors for the Houston Public Library. Other organizations that have benefited from her Leadership skills are the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Peter Clavier having served as Supreme Lady(National President), National Women of Achievement, NCNW. Her church is a high service priority for she serves as director of Liturgy, codirector of lectors, Eucharistic Minister and RCIA director. Consuella is a charter member of The Drexel Society, Inc. She and her husband, Edmund Broussard are members of the Knights of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem. Her recognition and awards are many.

Consuella is the mother of four children and the grandmother of six.
